LFP. Weekly Charging Vs Daily Charging | Tesla Motors Club

2 weeks from now

Jun 4, 2015  · If you want your car to last for a very long time, longer than, say, 10 years, and you want to treat the battery better, charge it to 70% whenever you can charge, like every day. 70% is a sweet spot for LFP batteries, because calendar ageing ist just as high as at 40%, but lower than at higher states of charge, like 80%, 90%, or 100%.

As a made up example, if you charge from 40% to 90% every day (50% battery capacity), you don't get 3000 cycles, it's more like 6000 cycles.

May 22, 2024  · Its by no means small amount, 25% per 5 days is quite a toll. I will have to probably go charge it at work for few hours every few days. In ideal scenario (based on Tesla 'consumption estimate') I calculated I would lose 2% battery for my daily commute, which is 10% per 5 days... totalling 35% per work week.

Oct 13, 2024  · I know that the M3LR doesn’t qualify for the new US incentives because the MSRP is above $55k - and no Teslas qualify until 2023 anyway. Surely it would be easy for Tesla to reduce the MSRP to $54,999 and unbundle some functionality we can buy later.
