I'm looking to build a custom 65% keyboard. Currently for work I am using an hhkb and for gaming I have a whitefox keyboard. I really enjoy the whitefox keyboard for gaming but would like to upgrade. Case: Alpha 68 (65%) Switches: Cherry MX2A Brown Keycaps: Custom PBT, Dye-Sub This is my first ever custom mechanical keyboard, and I’m pretty pleased by the outcome! I went for a Brotherhood of Steel theme with the keycaps, and I’m pretty pleased by how they came out, especially the rust color on the side keys.

65% keyboards basically all have nonstandard right shift keys, so if you want the easiest time finding keycaps you should stick to 60%. For 65% boards, look at the BM65 or YC66. They're kit options, so you can put any switches/keycaps you want in them. And they ship from china, which is slow but you can definitely get them shipped to Canada.
