Using an old Schneider blanket currently and it is still water proof going on 6 years. Only issue belly straps are to long even adjusted ,all the way up. Thank you for your input, everyone. =) Seems like Schneider's isn't immune from the 'lemon' blanket problem either. BUT at least they have a 10yr warranty, and good customer service.
